Edit speaker names after the meeting
Rename a speaker once and T2 updates every line, the summary and the action items.
T2 has always told speakers apart. Until now it called them Speaker 1 and Speaker 2, and you had to live with that or fix every line by hand. In 2.4 you tap a speaker label, type a name and T2 rewrites the whole transcript.
What changes
New names show up in the transcript, the summary and the action items.
T2 remembers voices in the same recording, so a name you set at minute 3 also applies at minute 40.
Names stay on your device unless you turn on sync.
How to use it
Open a recording, tap any speaker label and choose Rename. If T2 merged two people into one speaker, choose Split and pick the lines that belong to the second person.
